To implement the "2011 plan" launched by the Ministry of Education of China and Ministry of Finance of China, China agricultural University, together with North West Agriculture and Forestry University and Huazhong Agricultural University, unites to establish a Coordinated Crop Biology Research Center (CBRC). CBRC integrates the main resources and research strength of maize, rice and wheat in China. CBRC is consisted of four research platforms: maize research platform, rice research platform, wheat research platform and a crop biology public platform, respectively. Multiple research areas are involved in each platform.
According to the missions of CBRC, highly motivated and talented principle investigators (PIs) will be recruited by the international academic committee. Candidates of all nationalities who conduct cutting-edge research on relevant areas are encourage to apply. All PIs will be provided with competitive packages including set-up and annual operating funds, and attractive salaries comparable to the international standard. For application within China,the human relations of PIs and ownership of research accomplishments will not be changed during the employment.
Requirements for the applicants
1. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. degree and is able to work full time at the position.
2. Professor from domestic University or Institute, and assistant professor or above (or other equivalent job titles) from abroad are required. Postdoctors with strong research experience can also be considered.
3. The successful candidate must have significant research accomplishments in relevant research fields.

Salary and supporting facility
1. The annual salary is 700,000 - 1,000,000 RMB for Senior PI, 500,000 - 700,000 RMB for Junior PI and 300,000 - 500,000 RMB for Assistant PI.
2. CBRC provides lab facility for PIs.
3. Other welfare refers to the national human relation policy.
